Many people dream of having more money, but struggle to attract, accept and believe in abundance. Money is a space of resistance for many. Our money mindset is often a direct reflection of how our family handled money or believed in money. Therefore, we have to build an abundant money mindset.
True Abundance is an inside job. It begins with feeling abundant and good about you. It is never about the amount of money; it is a state of mind. Money is a vehicle to express love. Money blesses you when you receive it, and it blesses you and the recipient when you give it. When you see money as a friend, it finds a way to you, and it increases happiness in the world as it circulates to and from you.
Many have blocks when it comes to abundance. “The Poverty mentality” is the biggest block. You may believe that you will never have enough, you will never be enough, or that there is too much lack in the world. This is a constant struggle to feel secure. Don’t judge yourself around this, just become aware and breathe it out. Allow yourself to accept that you deserve to prosper.
Here’s one activity for you, make a list of your beliefs around rich people, money & wealth. Beliefs are assumptions that we hold as true. These assumptions dictate many of our thoughts, feelings, actions and therefore our results. For example, “I resent others having money”; “Rich people are selfish”; “Money is the root cause of all evil”; “Getting rich takes too much struggle and work”; etc. Then in a piece of paper, answer the following questions:

Where did this belief come from? (What situations/persons in my life have given voice to these beliefs?)

What will happen if you continue to hold on to this belief? (Impact on life & relationship with money?)

What will become POSSIBLE if you CHOOSE NOT TO BELIEVE THIS?
More than anything, abundance is a feeling. Your true abundance starts with your belief system, so choose to see through the lens of love. Respect your money, love your bills, rejoice and want more in others’ good fortune, make space for all the new, open your arms wide for all good, pray, accept compliments and finally visualize your abundance.
