Alexander Geil is a small, yet rising presence in the independent film community and seems to gain more exposure after each short film. He has released 9 short films over the previous four years with a ridiculously small budget with quality and popularity seeming to increase slowly after each release.
His most notable works include The Betrayer: Resolution (2019), Despondent (2020), and The Bourne Retribution (2018) a fan short.
His latest release is titled The Black Horse | A Post-Apocalyptic Short Film, and was released on December 6th, 2020.
The film showcases a teenager who became separated from his best friend/roommate after a chemical outbreak that nearly whipped out all of the world’s population. The event sending the world, and whoever is left into chaos and despair. He then sets out into the broken world to see what he can find, after all of his essential resources run out. What he discovers along his journey is something he could’ve never imagined.
